InterState Commercial Real Estate, Inc. was formed in 1994 to provide timely and accurate information and comprehensive representation to principals involved in retail real estate transactions. These principals include retailers seeking new locations, developers seeking land for new projects and property owners seeking to sell and/or lease their retail real estate.

Tenant Representation

The primary focus in the past for InterState Commercial’s brokerage team had been regional tenant representation. Over our team’s careers, we have been involved in hundreds of deals, accounting for more than 8 million square feet, in major markets throughout the United States, including Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Columbus, New Orleans and other markets.

Regionally, InterState Commercial’s team has exclusively represented national retailers such as Virginia-based Circuit City Stores, Inc., for which we have negotiated leases and purchases for more than 100 locations over the last ten years; Rhode Island-based CVS/pharmacy, for which we have negotiated leases and purchases for more than 80 locations over the last five years; CarMax and Dick’s Sporting Goods. InterState Commercial has also worked on multiple deals with Staples Office Supplies, Inc., The Home Depot, Wal-Mart Stores and Toys R Us.
